Snow!!!

It has finally snowed enough for the kids to go out and play. This is the first time for Aubrey, and she loved it. She threw a fit when I brought her in. The kids had so much fun. It is fun to watch them, but getting them ready to go out gets pretty old fast. It should be a fun winter.

So Helpful!

Aubrey has been so helpful when it comes to the dishwasher lately. It's like she has it on radar. She could be playing not paying attention, but as soon as I open it she is right there. This morning she started putting the silverware away for me. It actually kept her from touching everything else, so I removed the knives and let her go to town. This was the result.

Tolbert Halloween Party

We had the Tolbert Halloween Party last night. Once again Grandma and Grandpa Tolbert spoiled the Grandkids rotten. They got tons of toys and treats. Halloween Bingo was a hit. The kids had a lot of fun. Kaylee asked if we were going to go back again tonight. I don't think trick or treating will be as much fun.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins on Tuesday night and I was excited to see what Aubrey would do. I thought Kaylee would be big enough to get a lot of the seeds out on her own this year. I was wrong, she didn't want to touch it to much because it was to slimy. When did she become Miss Pris? Aubrey dug right in and thought it was great. Her face the first time she touched it was hilarious. We had a fun night.

Kaylee's Birthday Party

I finally had Kaylee's Birthday party last Saturday on the 24Th. I figured I better do her party since it was getting to be so late after her real birthday and both girls were feeling better. The kids had a fun time, and ended up mostly just playing in the backyard. The weather actually wasn't that cold, which was nice. Kaylee loved her Princess castle cake. She said it was the best birthday party when it was done.

Happy Birthday Kaylee

Kaylee turned 4 on October 15th. I didn't really plan to much since both girls had been sick. Kaylee helped me make a cake. Grandma Tracie and Aunt Becky and the kids came over for cake and ice cream that night.

Labor Day Vacation

I drove to California over Labor Day by myself with the girls. I have to admit I was a little nervous going by myself, but the girls did awesome. We left our house and drove strait to the Lake. Since Shane was going to be hunting all weekend I figured I would get in one last trip to the Lake and my parents for the Summer. The girls have so much fun there. I wish we lived closer so they could spend more time during the Summer there. Kaylee and JT had so much fun playing together. I cant wait for Summer to start next year.

Johnny returning from hunting. Surprise, he didn't get anything dressed like that.

Aubrey was so tired she fell asleep sitting up.

Aubrey playing on the shore.

Kaylee and JT playing.

Kaylee swimming with Aunt Zan.

Kaylee and Grandma on the tube.

Kaylee and I on the paddle boat.

We went to the park for lunch one day. Aunt Zan always plans fun things to do for the day at Grandma's. The girls had fun, here are a few pictures.

We went to the river bar by my parents work one afternoon. Zan knew of a spot that is kind of protected by the wind. I thought the kids would play on the shore since the water was pretty cold, but they went right in. The girls loved it. Another fun idea by Aunt Zan.

We had a fun week visiting Grandma and Grandpa Nicholls. Kaylee was asking if we could move there by the end. Oh how I wish. I tell her to keep asking her Dad. Can't wait for the next visit.

Libertyland

We took the kids to a place called Libertyland for the night after Kaylee's first day of school. They both had so much fun. Kaylee was mad that the rollercoaster wasn't working, but she still had fun. Aubrey had fun, she loved the big slide. It is a fun little place to take the kids for a night.

Preschool

Kaylee started preschool in August. The second picture is her standing outside before going in. As you can see she was very excited. She loves preschool. Although, she has gotten in trouble a couple of times. Once for talking and once for scribbling. That's Kaylee for you. She has been having a great time and loves her teacher.

Bear Lake

Shane had to work in Bear Lake for a couple days, so since I had never been there I took the kids and went to see him. I have never seen a lake that is so blue. It reminded me of the ocean in Hawaii. The pictures do not show how blue it is. It is so beautiful there. The girls had so much fun just playing in the sand and collecting shells. Kaylee had fun building a sand castle. Next time I will bring more sand toys. It was a really fun day, and we can't wait to go back.

Wallsburg

We spent Friday and Saturday night in Wallsburg. It is such a pretty place, the girls loved it. I never thought I would see Shane on a horse. The girls loved be able to run around and play. It was fun to visit with friends. Thanks Brady and Angie for the fun weekend.
