Recently I had to run a few errands into town. I had to go to a couple stores, car wash, and get gas. When we got home Kaylee said she was exhausted. Yes, she said exhausted. She went upstairs while I was putting a few things away. When I went to look for her I found her asleep on my bed. I just had to laugh. I could see how riding in a cart would be so exhausting. I thought the blue lips were also a good touch. You just got to love the free suckers they think your kid needs.

I asked Kaylee to play with Aubrey while I got ready this morning. I was a little worried about what Kaylee would do to her. Kaylee can get a little rough. I was surprised to see Kaylee put her tiara on her. She kept telling me Aubrey was a princess. They played so good together. Aubrey didn't stop giggling. I can already tell Aubrey can't wait to be able to keep up with her older sister.

Christmas Fun

Christmas has come so fast this year. Kaylee has loved decorating for Christmas. She is so excited for Santa to come. This picture of our Christmas tree is more for my brother, he knows why.

The Girls in their Christmas dresses.

I decided to do a little Christmas project with Kaylee. We made a Christmas countdown. Kaylee had more fun with the glue and scissors than she did putting together. She has loved having it in her room. She can't wait to take a ring off every morning.

Twilight!

So I went to the midnight showing of Twilight last night. It actually ended up being a lot of fun. There was a raffle before the movie raffling off Twilight stuff. I was surprised how many men were actually there. I won't say anything about the movie so as not to ruin it for anyone, but it was good. Definently worth seeing.

Kaylee wanted to start using scissors. Not wanting to be one of those overprotective Mothers, I bought her a pair of kids scissors. Before letting her use the scissors I told her that scissors can only be used to cut paper. They can't be used to cut anything else, and she can only cut the paper I give her. So last night the Kaylee asked to use her scissors. I gave her the scissors and told her to sit up at the kitchen counter. Shane was cleaning up dinner and I was sitting on the couch playing with Aubrey. A few minutes go by and I feel Kaylee come up behind the couch and touch my hair. I thought she was just playing with my hair, but then I heard the sound of the scissors cutting. Yes, she cut my hair. I of course freaked out and ran to the bathroom to look at my hair. Shane had a nice talk with Kaylee and put her on time out. When she got out of time out to come talk to me, she was crying and could hardly talk. She felt really bad. Let's just hope she learned her lesson. As for my hair, thankfully she didn't do any noticeable damage.

Tolbert Halloween Party

We had the Tolbert family Halloween party this last Sunday. The kids all had a lot of fun. Grandma Tolbert spoiled them and kept them very entertained. They had many different games and activities to participate in. Kaylee loved eating the jello off the plate without her hands. I am sad however, that I didn't get a picture of her feeding Shane a donut hanging from a string.

Halloween

This was the first Halloween I think Kaylee actually understood what was going on. She told me what she wanted to dress up as, and then after we got the costume would ask me everyday if it was time to put it in. She had so much fun trick or treating. She said she wanted to fill her pumpkin to the top with candy. She didn't, but she still had fun. She also loved the glow stick she got from Grandma.
